Meaning: This is one of the pleasant raagas of Carnatic Music. Sree Ranjani Raaga evokes the feelings of supplication to the Lord. Saint Thyagaraja appropriately used this raaga to express his state of helplessness and says who else will save me if you do not, Oh! Lord Rama! It is like entreating the Lord and telling Him all the great deeds done by Him and requesting Him to take care of him.

Pallavi: Oh! Rama! who will save me Lord.

Anupallavi: Other than you, who will save me. With abundance of love, who will take care of me. Oh! King of all this Universe! You are the greatest among the human beings. Other than you who will save me.

Charanam 1 : After winning over the cruel demon Raavanaasura, you donated the entire kingdom to his brother and all the gods and the King of Gods, Devendra have praised you. You are so merciful. Who else will save me Lord!
