Everything Springs Up from Within Us - TGL Iyer

A recent article in the journal of the Chartered Management Institute, USA, gave the result of some Research into leadership qualities.

It reported: "The most striking absence is that of inspiration. While more than half the number of Managers examined considered inspiration as one of the most important qualities in a leader, only a tiny proportion of 11 per cent applied this in their daily working lives."

Sometimes, we wonder why we cant be content with secure jobs and material things. We can never be complete and fulfilled by these alone. We must have our soul engaged somewhere in our lives. Often, we get immersed in the lives of others to get inspiration. We all have wisdom in us, but to express that in our own ways, we need inspiration.

There is no instruction manual how to lead our lives. The manual is the instinct within us, God’s voice, the signpost of joy and inspiration. Sometimes, the blueprint is close to the surface; sometimes it lies buried deep within us.

The Taithireya Upanishad says: "We originate from the Divine; we live in the Divine; we return back to the Divine". In other words "In Bliss and love we are born; in bliss and love, we are sustained; in Bliss and love we return."
