Your Karma Decides the Kind of Life You Lead-Sri Sri Ravishanker

Children are the strongest impression on the minds of their parents and grand parents. These strong impressions tend to rule karma. Every impression is karma. One need not worry about this because karma is also fluid, it is not written in stone. The last thought at the time of death is important but there can be deeper impressions. For example, not everyone who is killed in a war will have the same type of life. That is not possible. There are many differences and variables, it is very complex.

Karma is also always bound by time, because every action has only a limited reaction, not an infinite one. Suppose someone commits a crime and they get imprisonment in jail. The jail time is limited, five, ten or twenty years. Some time is reserved. Like that, every karma has only a limited sphere of its effect, good or bad. If you do something good to people, they will come and thank you, they are grateful to you as long as they are experiencing that effect. Karma is that which propels reincarnation. The stronger the impression, the more the nature of the next life could be predicted by that.
