O Hanuman, O Lord, as a child, when you had taken Sun god into your mouth to swallow, all the three worlds got plunged into total darkness. When the whole world was thus troubled, nobody could help. When gods and demigods rushed to you seeking your help, you released the Sun god to fill the worlds with light. O Lord Hanuman, in this world who doesn’t know your name as the rescuer from dangers and troubles? |

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? |

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saint, |
|
Let us break their bands as under, and cast away their cords from us. |
|
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. |
|
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. |
|
Yet I have set my kingdom upon my holy hill of Zion. |
