The Non-Duality of the Supreme Being - Sri Swami Chidananda

God’s grace manifests in and through His saints and prophets and the great realized masters. Through them, in a mysterious way, God lifts up sincere seeking souls into His own supreme level of divine consciousness and absorbs them back unto Himself. For that Supreme Being, one and non-dual, made the many flow forth from Himself.

Tadaikshata bahusyam prajayeyeti—It willed let there be progeny or creation, and we are the result of that divine will. Here a question might arise. The question is: What is the connection, the relationship, between the Supreme Being and we who are the outcome of the supreme will, we who constitute His willed dualities or multiplicities? Has our coming into being affected His absoluteness, His supreme non-duality? How do we explain the existence of the experienced non-duality of the Absolute Being and the perceived multifariousness of this relative world appearance that is our daily experience from the moment we wake up in the morning until we retire back into sleep?
