Shwetaketu went to the assembly of the wise men of Panchala, and found king Prawahana Jaiwali, surrounded by courtiers. The king saw him and said: ‘Welcome, young man!’ |

‘Here I am, Your Majesty,’ said Shwetaketu. |

The king said: ‘Have you been taught by your father?’ |

Shwetaketu said: ‘Yes!’ |

The king said: ‘Do you know if people go in different directions when they die?’ |
