Meanings and explanations

1. Sahrudaya: means good-hearted, kind, compassionate and sincre. In all virtues sahrudayatha is said to be the important virtue.

2. Avikaththanam: means, one who does not boast. It is said that real learned poeple and gnani’s will have this virtue of not boasting oneself.

3. Ikshavaha: means sugarcane.

4. Avasaanam: means end, termination, conclusion. The word avasanadasha means last phase of the life-on the bed.

5. Indhanam: means fuel, wood, and lighting.

6. Ibhaha: means an elephant. ibhi means a female elephant. A woman’s walking is generally described as ibhirajagamanam.

7. Anapatya: means child-less, without hair, or without children. the word apathyam means child, anapatyam means without child.

8. Astheyam: means not stealing.

9. Anubhrathuhu: means a younger brother.

10. Purata: means gold.

11. Anumathihi: means permission, consent, or approval.

12. Nirlutanam: means robbing, plundering and looting.

13. Vittadaha: means a donor. Vittaha means money `da’ means giving a person who donates money.

14. Shodashavarsham: means sixteen, varsham means a years. Shodashavarsham means 16 years.

15. Sanchita: means accumulated, boarded, collected. Sanchita Karma this word refers that the accumulated actions of good and bad deeds.

16. Praanathaha: means air, wind.

17. Muhurthaha: means a moment, any short portion of time; or a period of 48 minutes. It will be used for a period, and time (which is auspicious or otherwise).

18. Mulakam: means radish that is a kind of root.

19. Sapthathihi: means seventy.

20. Jaami Phalaha: means gouva fruit.
