The Secret of the Mantra - Shruti

The Meaning

Often, in everyday language and written expression, we come across the introduction of an ‘another language’ word for a particular meaning or impact. A similar use is made of the word "Mantra"! Let us consider the following sentence: "Go For It!" is the Mantra of today’s CEO!

The Mantra?? Do we mean, ‘Power Words’? Words that carry in a capsule, a world of meaning, suggestion, experience and the force of action?

The word "Mantra" here, implies that we are able to activate, through a word, a phrase or a sentence(s), the power to communicate an ‘Energy’ which galvanizes and leads the listener or user. It leads him, into the `intended’ experience in himself, which translates into his will and action, his ‘Karma’!

So the Mantra, "Om! Shantih! Shantih! Shantih!", meditated upon with complete sincerity would spontaneously induce an atmosphere of peace.
