He Gives Us All We Need - Duncan Greenlees |

Now it is He who sends the winds to announce beforehand His mercy, until they bring up the laden cloud. He leads it to a dead land and pours water down upon it, with whose aid He brings forth fruits of every kind. In the same way, He brings forth the dead; perhaps you will think it out! In the good land its plants grow well by their Lord’s will, but in what is poor only worthless stuff comes up. (7: 57-58). |

No leaf falls but He knows it, neither is there a grain in the darkness of the soil, nothing either green or dry, but is in clear writing. (6:59) What! Do they not look at the birds above them spreading and folding (their wings)? None but the Gracious One holds them up; truly He watches everything. (67:19) And there is not an animal on earth whose living does not depend on God, and He knows its haunts and final destination. (11:6) And how many animals there are that lay up no provision! God provides for them, and you! (29:60) |

So let man look at his food, how We pour down water in showers, then break up the soil with cracks, and make the grain sprout up in it. (80:24-27) And the dead earth is a sign for them; We give it life, and bring forth the grain from it, and then they eat it (36:33) and grapes and green fodder. (80:28) And therein We have set gardens of the date palm and the vine, making fountains gush forth in it, that they may eat of its fruits which their hands have never made; so will they not be thankful? (36: 34-35) |
