Meaning: Normally in most of the kritis, the main action verb appears in the very first or second line of the song; but in this kriti, it appears in the last line of the kriti. Ne Naa raadhintu – meaning I worship — all the adjectives of the Lord whom he worships are given in the preceding lines including the Pallavi and anupallavi. Saint Thyagaraja praises the Lord Rama using all adjectives in this kriti also. This kriti is sung in Madhyamavathi ragam which is very impressive and normally sung in madhyama kalam i.e. medium pace. |
Pallavi: The Lord with smiling face, who has conquered my heart, who rules the entire world, who is the valentine of Janaki maatha, ( I worship) |
Anupallavi: He is God of gods, he is the most beautiful, he is the son of the King Vasudeva and he is the same Seetharama ( I worship) |
Charanam : He is the mine of auspicious knowledge, he has the sun and the moon as his both eyes, he the Sun for the unfathomable darkness of ignorance, he is capable of cleansing from all the sins, he can grant you the righteous path and the salvation: understanding all these qualities of the Lord I worship him always and I adore HIM. |
