Devotion and Divine Name - Swami Ramdas |
|||
|
Ramdas will speak to you now something about Bhakti Yoga. Bhakti is of two kinds - preparatory Bhakti and transcendent Bhakti. In the preparatory Bhakti you open a relationship with God and keenly aspire to attain Him. Day by day you increase your devotion for Him, aspire intensely to know Him to realize Him and to have His vision. In this practice of preparatory Bhakti where a continuous stream of God-thought flows in you, your mind gradually gets purified. Purification of mind is an essential factor for realizing God. By purification alone the mind can concentrate on God and ultimately lose itself in the Divine consciousness. At this stage your individuality is merged in the all-pervading Cosmic Reality. |
