Blessings of a Lifetime - K Aravindaksha Menon |
As a district and sessions judge, I visited Thiruvananthapuram frequently for four years since 1990 in connection with official work. The Thyaykad Sastha (Ayya ppan) temple was close to the government guest house where I used to stay. |
On my first visit to the City I went to the temple along with Ajith, a clerk. When we reached the temple, the Sreekovil (sanctum sanctorum) was closed for the morning pooja and about 50 devotees were waiting for darshan. |
Soon, the sreekovil opened and the Melshanthi came out with prasadam (flowers) and theertham and started distributing them. |
