Blessings of a Lifetime - K Aravindaksha Menon

As a district and sessions judge, I visited Thiruvananthapuram frequently for four years since 1990 in connection with official work. The Thyaykad Sastha (Ayya ppan) temple was close to the government guest house where I used to stay.

On my first visit to the City I went to the temple along with Ajith, a clerk. When we reached the temple, the Sreekovil (sanctum sanctorum) was closed for the morning pooja and about 50 devotees were waiting for darshan.

Soon, the sreekovil opened and the Melshanthi came out with prasadam (flowers) and theertham and started distributing them.
