Meaning: Another most popular kriti of Sri Thyagaraja is presented in this issue. The Supreme Lord is always beyond virtues or wickedness. He is beyond all the three gunas like Satwa Guna, Rajo Guna and Tamo Guna. If anything goes wrong in one’s life, it is due to a gap or mistake in the deeds of oneself. Sri Thyagaraja having realized this surrenders to the Lord in supplication and lists the possible mistakes he would have committed due to which he was facing the ordeal.
