Swami
Vivekananda and
His Message
of Vedanta - C
S Shah |
Swami Vivekananda’s life has fascinated many scholars, inspiring them to write his biographies. The book under review captures the attention of its readers for its simplicity and tightly organised biographical material. It is written with charming simplicity coupled with a Vedantic background. The author himself explains in his preface the rationale behind writing this book: Swamiji’s life helped him to get a better perception of spirituality, eternal Reality, Consciousness, human evolution and psycho-spiritual growth; hence his attempt. |
While to lay readers this book presents Swamiji and his message with rare conceptual clarity, to students of Vedanta it is provocative enough to induce them to further explore the intricacies of Swamiji’s message. The author deserves thanks for his eloquent presentation of the life and message of Swamiji. |
