Practice of Meditation - Dr. Susunaga Weeraperuma

Nothing in life is more important than meditation.  A life that is devoid of meditation soon becomes dull and superficial.  Unless meditation is the be-all and end-all of life, there is the risk of degeneration into an animal like existence that is centered around eating, drinking and mating.  Persons who do not meditate tend to overestimate the things of this world and underestimate spirituality.  But those who meditate realize that changes for the better keep on taking place in their inward nature. As they progress spiritually they can also observe that their day-to-day problems are no longer as burdensome as they used to be in times past.  Above all, by meditating correctly they begin to experience a stress-free state of physical and psychological well-being.
